Despite the weather being the coldest temperature I’ve ever filmed in at The Rift Estate or ever haha, this couple / wedding warmed my heart.
Joel is the brother of someone I had filmed earlier in the year, so I was honoured when I found out I would be working with their family again. It’s always a great feeling when someone loves the products that I provide and recommends me to their friends and family.
Jessica and Joel have been together for almost two decades. They have two beautiful children and have created a loving family for themselves. All they needed to do was make it all official. As Jessica and the kids made their way down the aisle, the tears began for Joel. It showed how much he adores his girls as well as what this wedding meant to his soon-to-be wife.
The ceremony was perfect at The Rift Estate. Jessica and Joel exchanged their vows while friends and family looked on in awe. After the registry signed, there were hugs, tears, and champagne bottles popped. It was time to party.
But first, Jessica, Joel and I had to explore The Rift Estate. Despite the cold, it is a stunning venue with plenty of places to walk around and capture gorgeous images of the couple and the bridal party. There were so many laughs, hugs, and kisses throughout the shoot that it truly was one big celebration.
Finally, we got to the reception which was also on site at The Rift Estate to continue the festivities. Guests gathered around heaters while speeches were made. It was Joel’s that was probably the most special. He thanked everyone in his family and spoke from the heart about his new wife. Everyone was in tears by the end of it. Luckily, he was able to collect himself and perform a rap duet with his brother. Words can’t describe how epic it was.
