Hanging out with Brad and Kurt was a career highlight for me and even better was that they chose Panorama House with that stunning Illawarra view which match their personalities beautifully.
I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard during the day of any wedding I’ve been a part of. From the moment I arrived to film Brad and Kurt getting ready for their big day together, I knew I was in for a good time.
The sun was shining across the gorgeous outdoor setting at Panorama House, the backdrop of Wollongong was just breathtaking, and the entire bridal party was a laugh riot the whole time they were together. Brad and Kurt even incorporated them into the ceremony.
Each of them participated in the vow ceremony. Brad and Kurt had no idea what each of them would say, and both held their breath for quite a long time. But it just added to the fun for everyone in attendance.
The festivities continued to the reception, where friends and family recounted the journey these two boys went on. Their history went back to when they were babies. Their mums knew each other, and the boys were in their prams. Who knew at that moment their paths would cross again?
The night finished with some incredible dance moves. I wish I had more cameras to capture all over the fantastic dancing from friends, family, and, of course, Brad and Kurt. They took a moment to catch their breath and head outside with me for some sparklers. I also captured some fantastic images with some colour LED lights.
But once that shoot was over, they were right back at it and having a blast, and I was doing my best to keep up with everyone.
