Not everyone loves the rain on their wedding day. But it didn’t seem to bother Brenda and Rob because how could you be upset with a location like Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat?
They were so much in love that neither of them could stop dancing throughout the day. It didn’t matter if they were in the same room. The music was loud during Brenda’s morning preparations, and the girls were practising their moves for when they entered the reception.
The boys were no different. Rob and the groomsmen were jumping around and showing off what they would do when the dancefloor opened.
While we were out shooting the location shots, the guys and girls would have impromptu dance-offs and jump for joy that this amazing couple were finally married.
Speaking of the location, Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat provided the perfect backdrop for this event. Rain, hail or shine, it features stunning scenery no matter where you look. The dance-off I mentioned earlier took place on the rocks overlooking the glorious Kangaroo Valley.
The ceremony was inside a stunning cliff face, the reception was in a sensational building overlooking the beautiful retreat, and we even found this perfect spot to capture some night footage with Brenda and Rob as the light bounced off the rain as it fell.
But in between these moments, it was all about the dancing. I even captured some awesome shots of Brenda, Rob and their friends and family on the dancefloor. The hardest part was fitting their incredible day into this highlight film.
