I love exploring new places, especially when I get to film videos at these locations such as Kimo Estate.
Kimo Estate is breathtaking. Located near Gundagai, it features a luscious landscape that is drenched in sunlight. The colours that appear are shades of bright reds, yellows, greens, and more. It’s just a shame my drone has a battery life because it could have captured so much more footage if I had more time.
But I wasn’t here to film gorgeous scenery. I was here for Claire and Ben. These two adore this area as much as they love one another. The moment they locked eyes at the ceremony, it was as if there was no one else around. Their vows came from deep within their soul and showed just how much they care about each other.
The reception was just as epic. On the outside, it looked like a barn made from tin. But inside it was a party. Family and friends were not afraid to do a bit of boot scooting. Even the young ones were getting involved. It didn’t matter how young or old you were. Everyone joined in to celebrate this very special couple.
As the sun set over the day, it helped highlight another side of the Kimo Estate. The sky had a baked bean colour that provided the perfect backdrop for Claire and Ben. I was able to capture them in a different light (literally) that I haven’t been able to do for any other couple. It helped make this highlight film even more personal to them, which is something I love to do with everyone I film.
Check out the amazing Kimo Estate as well as the lovely story of this couple. Don’t forget to check out our other videos on our Vimeo page and get in touch with us if you want to find
